Frequently asked questions
The speech models won't download.
iOS downloads the models in the background after installation. That needs an internet connection and free storage. Keep the app open on Wi-Fi for a moment. After that no network is needed.
Does recording continue when I lock my iPhone?
Yes. Recording continues in the background and shows in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen.
How do I connect my Obsidian vault?
In Settings under “Vault”, choose your vault folder. GESAGT. creates a folder called “Mitschriften” there. Writing to the vault automatically is part of Pro; you can share any note without Pro.
How do I delete my voice profile?
In Settings, tap “Delete Voice Profile”. You then appear as a numbered speaker until you teach the app your voice again.
I bought Pro but it isn't unlocked.
Tap “Restore Purchase” in the Pro section of the app and sign in with the Apple ID you bought it with. Pro also works for your family through Family Sharing.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. I have no access to them.
