Summary: Your tasks stay on your iPhone. There is no account, no tracking and no advertising. Two services receive technical data, never your tasks: RevenueCat for purchases and subscriptions, and Expo for app updates.

JETZT. collects as little data as possible. Everything you enter is stored by the app on your iPhone. As the developer, I never see your tasks.
JETZT. keeps the following in the app's protected storage on your iPhone:
Widgets, the share extension and Siri exchange data with the app through a shared storage area (App Group) that also stays on your iPhone. iOS shows the Live Activity with the timer directly on the device.
If iCloud Backup is turned on for your iPhone, Apple backs up this data as well. Apple's Privacy Policy applies to that.
When you attach a picture to a task, JETZT. asks for access to the camera or your photo library. The picture is stored only in the app on your iPhone. You can revoke access at any time in iPhone Settings under JETZT.
Tasks can reach JETZT. through the iOS share sheet, through Siri and Shortcuts, or from the GESAGT. app. The handover goes through the shared storage area on your iPhone, not through a server. What you say to Siri is processed by Apple under its own privacy policy.
From iOS 26, on supported iPhones, JETZT. uses the Apple Intelligence language models that run on the device. They detect dates as you type, turn pasted text into separate tasks, suggest checklist items and sort shopping lists by aisle. The text does not leave your iPhone. Without Apple Intelligence, the app detects dates with fixed rules, also only on the device.
Reminders, for example for planning your day, winding down or the end of the free week, are scheduled by JETZT. as local notifications on your iPhone. There is no push server, and JETZT. does not send notifications over the internet. You decide in iPhone Settings whether the app may show notifications.
JETZT. Pro is available as a yearly subscription, a monthly subscription and a one-time purchase. Payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. I receive no payment details, no name and no email address.
To check whether you have bought Pro, JETZT. uses RevenueCat, provided by RevenueCat, Inc., 1032 E Brandon Blvd #3003, Brandon, FL 33511, USA. The following is processed:
RevenueCat does not receive your tasks. RevenueCat processes the data in the USA and bases the transfer on contractual data protection obligations. Details are in RevenueCat's privacy policy.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, because the check is needed to provide the features you bought.
JETZT. is built with Expo. When it starts, the app asks the servers of Expo (650 Industries, Inc., USA) whether a small update is available, such as a bug fix, and downloads it if so. The following is transmitted:
Your tasks are not transmitted. Expo participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Details are in Expo's privacy policy.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is being able to fix bugs in the app quickly, without waiting for a new App Store update.
JETZT. is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple collects its own data for downloads, purchases and crash reports under its Privacy Policy. If you allowed iOS to share analytics with developers, Apple passes aggregated statistics and anonymous crash reports on to me. I have no access to any other data at Apple.
Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21), in particular to the processing described in section 9.
Since I store none of your tasks, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the app:
For data held by RevenueCat or Expo, contact me or the provider directly.
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. The authority responsible for me is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
The app's data sits in its protected storage area, which iOS keeps separate from other apps. Connections to RevenueCat and Expo are encrypted over HTTPS.
JETZT. is not aimed at children under 16.
If the way the app handles data changes, I will update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
